Love at first sight….
For Theo Papadopoulos, the connection with the Porsche brand is a deep one that commenced in the late 70’s when he was a young boy. And is fortunate to carry on an almost 40 year relationship with the Porsche brand. As it all started by a bike ride with friends past Ludwig Heimrath’s Porsche race shop in Toronto. And sneaking to the back of the building where all the Porsches were. After laying his eyes on the 911 RS and RSR race cars Ludwig Sr had there, it was at that moment where the young Theo got hooked and fell in love.
His career path eventually started at Heimrath Porsche. Learning about Porsche Motorsport culture in a real hurry when working for Ludwig Sr.

A different opportunity arose at Pfaff Porsche for a couple of years. But Theo eventually returned back to Heimrath in a bigger role within the company.
As health and career changes needed attention, it was finally time to head to Florida. Where the vibrant motorsports scene was on the rise.
A dedicated Porsche Club instructor, Theo’s involvement with PCA Gold Coast Region helped him grow and connect with the local Porsche culture. And to further grow with the Porsche motorsports environment.
Very fortunate to work with Porsche teams such as Alegra Motorsports, Fiorano Racing, The Racers Group and Kelly-Moss Racing. With continued involvement with Porsche Motorsport. Creating Tyss Motorsports in 2015, Theo intends to continue the Porsche passion he has for the brand for many more years.
As a professional driving coach and HPDE instructor, for local Florida car clubs, he shares his expertise in racecraft and car control.

Theo’s career highlights came in 2007 and 2023.
First, when Theo was Team Manager for Alegra-Fiorano Motorsports to a GT class victory at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. An unbelievable feeling Theo has always dreamed to achieve.
Then with Kelly-Moss Racing. Winning PRO-AM class championship in Porsche Carrera Cup series. Both results fantastic experiences that you never forget. And hope to continue with his team.
